Getting Started

Quick Start

Get up and running with Lyceum Guardian in minutes

This guide walks you through the essential tasks to get started with Lyceum Guardian.

Dashboard Overview

After logging in, you'll see the main dashboard with:

  • Quick Statistics - Total students, pending invoices, revenue
  • Quick Actions - Enroll student, view invoices
  • Navigation Sidebar - Access all features

Your First Enrollment

Step 1: Select a Student

  1. Click "Student Enrollment" in the sidebar or "Enroll Student" on the dashboard
  2. Search for a student by:
    • Name
    • Admission number (for existing students)
    • Temp ID (for new students)
  3. Click on the desired student from search results
  4. Review student information and click "Next Step"

Step 2: Choose Packages

  1. The default package (Lyceum Guardian Primary) is pre-selected
  2. Optionally select add-on packages:
    • International O/L
    • International A/L
    • Text and Workbooks
  3. Choose payment option:
    • Full Settlement - Pay once
    • Pay in Installments - Split payments
  4. Review the total amount
  5. Click "Review Invoices"

Step 3: Create Invoices

  1. Review all invoice details:
    • Package names
    • Amounts
    • Due dates
  2. Verify student information
  3. Click "Create Invoices"
  4. You'll be redirected to the success page

Managing Invoices

Navigate to Invoices to view and manage all student invoices.

Invoice Stages

Marking Invoices as Paid

  1. Click on an invoice to view details
  2. Click "Mark as Paid"
  3. Enter payment reference number
  4. Add optional notes
  5. Confirm payment

Access admin features from the sidebar:

Packages & Schemes

Configure guardian protection packages with:

  • Package names and descriptions
  • Multiple payment schemes per package
  • Grade-specific pricing

Payment Configuration

Set credit and recovery periods:

  • Different periods for new vs existing students
  • One-time vs installment payments
  • Credit note formulas

Roles & Permissions

Manage user access with roles:

  • Super Admin - Full access
  • Admin - Operations management
  • Branch Manager - Branch-level access
  • Finance Officer - Financial operations
  • Receptionist - Front desk operations
  • Viewer - Read-only access
