Packages & Schemes

Packages define the guardian protection offerings available to students and parents. Each package can have multiple payment schemes with different pricing and installment options.

Package Types

Default Package

The main guardian protection package that is:

• Automatically selected during enrollment
• Cannot be deselected by users
• Typically "Lyceum Guardian Primary"

Add-on Packages

Optional additional packages that provide extra coverage:

• Can be selected during enrollment
• Additional cost added to total
• Examples: International O/L, International A/L, Text and Workbooks

Managing Packages

Navigate to Admin → Packages & Schemes to manage packages.

Creating a Package

1. Click "Create Package"
2. Fill in package details:
   • Package Name: e.g., "Lyceum Guardian Primary"
   • Branch: Select specific branch or leave blank for all
   • Description: Optional description
   • Default: Check to make it the default package

Adding Payment Schemes

Each package can have multiple payment schemes:

1. Click "Add Scheme"
2. Configure the scheme:
   • Title: e.g., "Full Settlement", "Two Installments"
   • Number of Installments: 1 for one-time, 2 for split payments
   • Total Price: Amount in LKR
   • Available for Grades: Select applicable grades

Scheme Features

Grade-Specific Pricing

Create schemes that apply only to certain grades:

• Different prices for different grade levels
• Special schemes for A/L or O/L students
• Grade-restricted add-ons

Branch-Specific Packages

Packages can be restricted to specific branches:

• Create branch-exclusive offerings
• Different default packages per branch
• Branch-specific pricing

Best Practices

1. Review annually - Update prices at the start of each academic year
2. One default per branch - Only set one package as default per branch
3. Clear naming - Use descriptive package names
4. Document changes - Use the description field for notes
5. Test first - Test new schemes with sample enrollments
