Student Management

Lyceum Guardian supports two types of students with different workflows for each.

Student Types

Existing Students

Students who are already enrolled in the school:

• Have an admission number (e.g., ADM2024001)
• Found in the school's main database
• Typically have shorter credit periods

New Students

Students who are newly joining the school:

• Have a temporary ID (e.g., TEMP2024001)
• Pending full admission
• May have longer credit periods (up to 45 days)

Student Information

Each student record contains:

Guardian Information

For each student, guardian details include:

• Guardian Name - Parent or legal guardian
• Guardian Phone - Contact phone number
• Guardian Email - Email address

Searching Students

Use the search functionality to find students by:

1. Name - Search by student name
2. Admission Number - For existing students
3. Temp ID - For new students

The search is real-time with debouncing for optimal performance.

For bulk student management, you can import student details via CSV:

1. Navigate to Student Details
2. Use the import feature
3. Upload a CSV file with required fields
4. Review and confirm the import
